SCHOLARSHIP applications  now open

Scores will be based on the following criteria:

  1. Demonstration that the applicant has approached other possible funding sources;
  2. Applicant's involvement with councils, committees, boards, and other volunteer activities that are relevant to peer roles and/or addiction services;
  3. Ability to demonstrate how the applicant will share information gained through attending Peerpocalypse with his or her own community;
  4. Applicant's representation of a group or community that may be underrepresented.

*It is NOT required that all four criteria are fulfilled to receive a scholarship award, but fulfilling multiple criteria is helpful.

MHAAO will award full and partial scholarships. Full scholarships will cover the conference registration fee and hotel costs (based on double occupancy) for up to four nights. MHAAO will also offer partial scholarships of conference registration or hotel only. All other costs and arrangements associated with travel (i.e. travel to/from the conference, meals not provided during the conference) will be the responsibility of the scholarship grantee. Applicants will be informed of award decisions no later than February 21, 2020.
